• What is Qijco?
  
  We are a second-hand platform for buying, selling and renting new and used tools between private individuals and professionals, dedicated exclusively to hardware, gardening, construction and tools.
  
  The "Construction" category encompasses not only the materials and tools needed to construct a building, but is also interpreted more broadly to include everything to do with the final layout of a space, including aspects related to comfort.
  
  We have provided you with a copy of a rental contract between private individuals.

• How can I efficiently search for ads on the site?
  
  Our platform is designed to simplify your search experience with limited sub-categories to make your navigation more intuitive.
  
  This allows you to quickly browse ads without wasting time searching for an overly specific sub-category.
  
  For a more targeted search, use our keyword search function. For example, if you're looking for a lawnmower, simply type "lawnmower" in the search bar, and all ads related to this term will appear. This method is effective for all types of search.
  
  We are aware that some sub-categories may not be suitable for sale or rental due to their nature or use.
  It is for this reason that our platform allows ads to be filtered by all types of ads either for sale or rental, in order to best meet your needs.
  
  Please note that all ads are displayed in their original language and are not translated. To enhance your experience and allow you to navigate easily, a specific field for sorting by language has been integrated both at ad creation and on the search page. This gives you a better experience in your native language and makes browsing and searching much easier, allowing you to filter ads quickly and efficiently.
  
  
• How do I create an account on the platform?
  
  To create an account, please click on Register.
  
  Fill in all the information relating to your identity and confirm your identity via the confirmation e-mail that will be sent to you.
  
  It is also possible to log in with your Facebook and Google account.
  
  
  
• How do I publish an ad?
  
  Please follow these steps following steps:
  
  1- Click on "+ Place an ad".
  2- Choose the corresponding category. 
  3- Choose the corresponding sub-category.
  4- Select ad type for sale or rent (with or without online payment).
  5- Fill in all the information about your ad.
  6- Add photos.

2- Advertisement management




•  Can I modify or delete my ad ?
  
  All ads published on our platform can be modified or deleted at your convenience. If you prefer not to permanently delete your ad but rather to temporarily pause it, you can close it directly from the ad page by selecting the "Close ad" option. This action is not irreversible: you can reactivate your ad at any time, just as easily, by clicking on "Re-open ad" as required.
  
  If you wish to delete your ad permanently, you can do so by clicking on "Delete ad".

• How can I contact the seller or lessor ?
  
  To contact the seller or lessor:
  
  1- Click on the ad: On the ad page, click on the "Contact" button.
  2- Fill in the Contact Form : Once you have clicked, you will be automatically redirected to a dedicated contact form.
  3- Ask your questions: Take advantage of the form to ask any questions you may have about the product or rental.
  4- Submit the form: After completed the form, press the "Send message" button. Your message will then be forwarded to the seller or renter.
  5- E-mail notification: The seller or lessor will be immediately informed of your request by e-mail.
  6- Rapid response: As soon as they respond to your message, you'll receive an e-mail containing their reply.
  7- Message history: All your messages will also be archived in your account's mailbox, providing convenient management of your communications.
  

• What can I do if I don't get a response from a seller and/or lessor ?

• Are there any restrictions on the type of items I can sell and/or rent ?
  
  On Qijco, items offered for sale or rent can only be related to the hardware, gardening, construction and tools sectors.

  Please check with your insurer (liability or home) to make sure it covers you in the event of a claim or accident.
  

• How do I report a suspicious or inappropriate ad?
  
  If you come across an ad that seems suspicious or inappropriate, we encourage you to notify us immediately. To report an ad, you can contact us directly at support@qijco.be.
  
  We take such reports very seriously and are committed to investigating each case to ensure the safety and reliability of our platform.
  

• How do I delete my account?
  
  To permanently delete your account, go to the "Account" section of your settings. Simply click on Delete my account permanently.

3- Security, transactions and payments

• What payment methods are accepted on the platform?
  
  We accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
  
  
• Where do I fill in my bank details?
  
  To make a purchase online, don't forget to enter your bank details in your settings under "Payments".
  
  No payment will be debited without prior acceptance.
  
  
• How long does it take for the money to be credited to my bank account after I've made a purchase?
  
  As soon as the transaction is validated, the money is credited to the seller's or renter's account within 24 to 48 hours.

  Qijco is a platform that brings together buyers, sellers and renters.
  Buyers, sellers and renters are responsible for the items sold and/or rented on Qijco.
  
  Qijco is not responsible or involved in any purchase, sale or rental transaction.
  
  2- Disputes

  In the event of disagreement or disagreement with the other user, we strongly advise you to seek an amicable resolution. The majority of conflicts are effectively resolved in this way.
  
  In accordance with our terms of useit is important to rememberthat Qijco acts as a matchmaking platform and is not directly involved in buying, selling or renting transactions. Our role is limited to intervening on members' accounts in the event of non-compliance with the rules established by our site.

• What are the fees for Qijco services?
  
  We attach great importance to transparency when it comes to fees, and are committed to providing you with clear and precise information on the charges involved in each transaction.
  

  First of all, it's essential to emphasize that registration on Qijco is entirely free for all users. There are no registration fees.

  Service fees, far from being a mere additional cost, are essential to the operation of our site. These management fees are reinvested to maintain security, maintenance, computer hosting, ongoing development of our platform, and much more while guaranteeing a reliable service for our users.
  
  These service fees also provide you with a secure payment system and 7/7 customer service.
  

  Here is an overview of the service fees associated with each transaction on the Qijco platform:
  
  For the buyer or tenant (what you pay) :
  

  • For purchases or rentals of up to €30, the service charge is €2.70 per transaction (incl. VAT).
  • For orders over €30, a commission of 9% (incl. VAT) applies.
    
    These fees cover the cost of transfers and guarantee transaction security.
    
    Service fees are clearly displayed during the purchase process, for total transparency.
    
    There are no service fees for the seller or the lessor.
    
    You don't have toworry about third-party payment processing fees, so you can complete your transactions with complete peace of mind.
    
    

• What is the cancellation and refund policy for users? 
  
  Cancellation of a sale by the buyer or lessee
  
  If you cancel a sale, the amount paid will be refunded minus the service charge.
  
  Cancellation of a sale by the seller or lessor
  
  If you cancel a sale, the amount paid by the buyer will be refunded in full, including service charges.

Data protection : It is forbidden to share personal contact information, including phone numbers, emails, images or external links (URLs) in your interactions on our site or in your ads.

Qijco members who violate this policy may be subject to sanctions, including account deletion. Our goal is to maintain a safe, respectful and productive environment for all.
