Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the Qijco platform and informs you about your privacy rights.

Please be aware that we use your personal data to provide and improve the service. By using the Qijco platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1- DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Account refers to a unique account created to allow you to access the Qijco platform.
  • Affiliate refers to an entity or person who controls its affiliation with the Qijco platform.
  • The company refers to Qijco as the legal entity that collects personal information from consumers and determines the purposes and means of processing the personal information of consumers, or on whose behalf this information is collected and who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing the personal information of consumers.
  • The company (hereinafter referred to as "Qijco", "We", "Our", or "Us" in this Agreement) refers to Qijco, the sole proprietorship located at 1050 Ixelles, chaussée de Boondael 369, registered at the Carrefour Bank of Enterprises under number 1007.076.863, represented by Mrs. Marine EMMERY, for the purposes of the present GDPR.
  • Consumer - User, refers to You.

  • Device refers to any device that can access the service of the Qijco platform, such as a computer, mobile phone, or digital tablet.

For the purposes of the GDPR, Personal Data means any information about you such as your name, identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more elements specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity.

  • The Service refers to the website www.qijco.be.
  • Provider refers to any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company or the Operator. These are third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company or the Operator to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company or the Operator, to provide related services, or to assist Qijco in analyzing how the Service is used. For the purposes of the GDPR, service providers are considered subcontractors.
  • Third Party Social Media Service refers to any website or any social networking site through which a user can log in or create an account to use the service.
  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

  • You refers to the person who accesses or uses the Service of the Qijco platform, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such person accesses or uses the Service, as applicable.     When you use Qijco, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

    • Phone number

    • Bank account information
    • Credit card number and expiration date

    3.1.2 - Usage Data

    Usage Data is collected automatically when using the service.

    Usage Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of the Qijco platform you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

    Qijco allows you to create an account and log in to use the Qijco platform through the following Third Party Social Media Services. These services may include, but are not limited to:

    If you decide to register through a Third Party Social Media Service or give us access to it, we may collect personal data that are already associated with your Third Party Social Media Service's account, such as your name, your email address, your activities, or your list of contacts associated with that account.

    If you choose to provide these information and personal data, during registration or otherwise, you give Qijco permission to use, share, and store them in accordance with this privacy policy.

    Qijco may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

    • To execute a contract: to draw up, respect and execute a purchase or rental contract through the Qijco platform.

    4- PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

    Qijco informs that the user who has communicated personal data will be used exclusively for technical, administrative and commercial purposes within the framework of the services offered by Qijco.

    Qijco informs that this data may be transmitted to certain public bodies for which Qijco may be obliged to respond to any judicial, administrative or other request. This data will only be kept for a period not exceeding that necessary for the purposes.
    In accordance with the RGPD, the user has a right of access, rectification, opposition on legitimate grounds to personal information concerning him, which he may exercise by simple request to the following e-mail address: contact@qijco.be.
    Qijco will endeavor to secure your personal data using technical and organizational security measures to minimize the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and modification.

    Our safeguards will include, for example, firewalls and data encryption, physical access control at our data centers, and managing permissions for access to information.

    4.1 - Retention of Your Personal Data

    The Qijco platform will retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.     You can update, modify, or delete your information at any time by logging into your account, if you have one, and clicking on your profile to manage your personal information. You can also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of any personal information that you have provided to us.
    Please note, however, that we may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation or a legal basis to do so.

    4.4 - Disclosure of Your Personal Data

    4.4.1 - Business Transactions

    If Qijco is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal data may be transferred. We will inform you before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

    4.4.2 – Legal Requirements

    In certain circumstances, Qijco may be required to disclose your personal data if the law requires it or in response to valid requests from public authorities.

    We may use third-party service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our service. They may include, but are not limited to:

    • Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of Qijco. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize ads on its own advertising network.

    You can refuse to have your activity on Qijco made available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visitor activity.     5.2 - Email Marketing

    5.3 - Payments

    We may provide paid products and/or services within Qijco. In that case, we may use third-party services for payment processing (e.g., STRIPE acting as our payment processor).
    We do not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their privacy policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

    5.4 - Behavioral Remarketing

    Qijco may use remarketing services to advertise to you after you have accessed or visited our platform.

    We, and our third-party vendors, use cookies and other tracking technologies to help recognize your device and understand how you use our service so we can improve our service to better reflect your interests and show you ads that are more likely to be of interest to you.
    These third-party providers collect, store, use, process, and transfer information about your activity on our service according to their privacy policies and to enable us to:

    6.1 - Legal Definitions Regarding the Processing of Personal Data under the GDPR

    Our Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, unless authorized by a legal guardian or administrator of the individual and/or property to access the platform and become a full user of the platform.

    Registrations by minors are strictly prohibited. By accessing, using, or registering on the Qijco platform, you confirm and attest that you are 18 years or older.
